7 · Federation King Suite with Bath

It was a shame we didn’t know about the works being carried out prior to booking . The grand house is being renovated an Positive: Great location Negative: Works underway which we didn’t know about - so far expected noise and workers outside our room. Was expecting verandah and sitting rooms but only the one space which was rather cramped .

Great place to stay in Blackheath Positive: Everything, the property was historic but in great condition. Clean and comfortable with generous food provisions provided in the shared eating area. In close proximity to Blackheath's facilities including the train station. The host was friendly and welcoming. Negative: Car parking is limited and not the greatest. The host allowed us to walk through the front garden when walking to the main street which was convenient. While there was some lighting, it could be better particularly on the pathway in front of the property walking toward the main street. It is very dark at night and the path is undulating. Perhaps something to talk to Council about.

perfect overnight stay for my grown up family, we booked 4 rooms and everyone loved the ambiance. Positive: great rooms and furnishing was beautifully crafted period timber. Negative: kitchen area was a bit small

Made our 2 night stay / hiking in blackheath extra special Positive: Exceeded expectations - comfortable convenient location and easy access to check in good communication sms and phone contact if needed .wonderful fabulous stocked kitchen with breakfast ingredients all fresh and appetisingly displayed including ready made sandwiches if needed , fruit abd fridge full dairy and fruit juices - quiet , private - sensational!! Negative: Nil

Negative: Staff are unfriendly and unresponsive. The breakfast is not much left when we went. You can hear the voice next to or in front of the room.
