Nice place Positive: Historical serenity Negative: Close to main road & train line

Positive: Staff were very helpful and we loved the outlook over the garden My son was wanting to bring his dog at the last minute and the owners were very accomodating the place was very clean and well maintained which is important to us

I stayed during Christmas. It was a wonderful place to drink tea, read and enjoy the garden. Positive: The property has charming features and a well maintained garden. Well located being close to the train station and shops. I am curious to learn about the history of the building.

Loved this one, great place to stay. Positive: Loved everything. There was cake etc for afternoon tea upon arrival, our room was very nice, bed was exceptionally comfortable. The gardens are lovely and well laid out for a relaxing afternoon stroll. It’s a short walk to restaurants and pubs. Breakfast supplied was exceptional. We would stay again next time we visit Blackheath. Negative: Loose gravel in the parking area was a bit difficult to manage on motorbikes. Could do with being sealed.

A charming old-fashioned B&B experience. Positive: Lovely property and no fuss regarding check-in and check out etc. Breakfast was thoughtfully provided and the room had all amenities one could expect. Negative: The property is very close to the main road and the traffic noise was significant especially while enjoying the garden and outdoor sitting areas. Happily, the noise either died down in the evening or the room was sufficiently soundproof as it did not prevent us from having a good night's sleep.
