It was pleasant but we had to stay in town to socialise with our friends. Positive: The grounds are lovely. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable. Negative: The kitchen is tiny - only one person can fit at a time. The dining space was also small so people had to eat in their rooms. There is no area to relax with friends apart from the breakfast area.

Lovely and cozy for our romantic getaway Positive: Lovely, cozy feel, federation style with modern touches. Well supplied eating area stocked with tea, coffee, cakes, breakfast items. Large comfy beds. Room has access to shared deck with garden. Property is short walk to main street. Will recommend and stay again. Negative: No complains except no nearly enough parking space in front of the house. Plenty of street parking, 1 min walk. Plenty of pillows but all were too flat.

Positive: A lovely historic house that the owners are currently renovating in keeping with its style. The room was small but comfortable. The self-serve breakfast was simple but there was plenty available. The location was good, a few blocks from the town centre, easily walkable. We would happily return.

Very enjoyable Positive: Basic and self help but very adequate and with no time restriction as to when one could have breakfast.

Lovely ambience -we will return Positive: This was our second visit this year and it did not disappoint; this time we brought our friends along for a mid-week winter mountain sojourn and they were equally impressed. Look forward to a return visit when the weather is warmer to enjoy sitting in the garden. Negative: We forgot to ask our host about provision of ice-cubes for a G&T... we survived ;)
