Blackheath Gem Positive: Location is amazing to start with, but the property added so many extra touches to make the stay outstanding. The breakfast is very good, the room was lovely, everything was quality, even the toilet paper and tissues! Beautiful gardens and very comfortable dining area. Providing afternoon tea, fruit etc just made it feel a cut above! Well done to the owners 😍 Negative: Parking is tight (understandably) so perhaps lined parking bays would help.

Positive: The location and closeness to the town, very well appointed and the "help" yourself breakfast was excellent Negative: Not being introduced to our host, & the rugs in my room, 3, were curled up and was a bit of a trip hazard, as was one in the breakfast room, but no real complaints, as our stay was fabulous

Positive: Such a lovely place to stay. Great view of the garden not too far from the station. Nice breakfast "help yourself style" and the host was friendly and helpful Negative: Everything was good

Pleasant stay in private secluded property. Would stay again and recommend to others Positive: Clean well-kept property with warm & comfortable bedding. Simple access procedure with clear and concise access instructions. Good and effective communication. Negative: Limited parking

The attention given to us by our host from pre check in to departure was amazing. We felt truly welcomed. Positive: We loved the ambience of the historic guest house with its beautiful furnishings, gardens and plentiful amenities in the room as well as in the shared dining area. The close proximity (easy walking distance) to restaurants, bars was a bonus. Negative: There was nothing we did not like.
