Stilvolles Guesthouse in schöner Lage Positive: Tolles, gemütliches, sehr britisches Guesthouse. Sehr zum wohlfühlen. Man kann sich am Nachmittag einen Tee/Kaffee machen, es steht auch Kuchen dort. Das Frühstück ist zur Selbstbedienung vorbereitet. Negative: Eigentlich nichts. Man sollte nur wissen, dass alles Selbstbedienung ist, auch das Frühstück, was vorbereitet ist. Es ist aber niemand vor Ort.

Afternoon tea, coffee facilities and breakfast available in the common area which was clean and generous. Cannot fault the communication. Will definitely return Negative: Everything was perfect

You won’t be disappointed with Rowan Brae Positive: I loved ambience of this accommodation, how comfortable it was and the great communication with the staff. A fellow guest left her rings in her room accidentally, and they posted them back to her for no cost. That’s great service. Negative: It’s down small lane way, so finding it was tricky, but that meant it was nice and quiet as well.

On my return home I booked another say in May 2026. Positive: There is plenty of food in the kitchen so you may prepare your own breakfast at your leisure. The beds are very comfortable. The temperature is just right. The pillows are very soft. It is a very quiet location. The walls are thick, so you do not here the other guests. The gardens are lovely. It is well back from the main highway, so you do not here the traffic. It is close to the town of Blackheath so coffee shops, restaurants and hotels are all in walking distance. Negative: Nothing comes to mind
